i thought i shld just do a quick and short update. haha. i know this has been stagnant for the longest time possible. but i have been really busy, lazy, and i didnt see much point in updating. so yea.

in any case. i'm twenty now! though i wish to think i'm twenTEEN. :) life is pretty much the same even though im a year (and one day) older now. so no big difference in being twenty. except well, the age thing. 20 seems like a huge number. and very soon, i'd be 30. then 40. okay. shall not think too far off. haha.

so anyway. my birthday was a nice one :) i had school, but the favourite sihums surprised me with a cake during lunch! they're really such great friends to have. awww. and like beryl who specially came down cos she had no school at all. ilovethesihums. so we had a nice lunch tgt and as usual, random talks and lots of laughter. on top of the pleasant surprise from the sihums, very thankful also for the many people who remembered and wished me via sms, in person, or on facebook (the wonders of technology). and and! for dearest jiahui and abra for calling :) and of course, for my family too! for just being the bestest family anyone can ask for :)

i cant possibly name every single person who wished me and made my turning twenty such a great one, but just know that i love you guys all. i really appreciate your wishes, and for just being my friends :D

most importantly, i want to thank God for twenty wonderful years that He has so graciously given to me. He indeed has shown that He is faithful and will never fail me. it is my prayer that as He continues to bless me with life, i will live my life for Him, and be used by Him in many ways to fulfill His will :) also, im very thankful for the many blessings He has showered upon me, and they include all the people (whether or not i mentioned their names above) He has placed in my life :) thank You God!

i couldnt stop laughing when i read this. (click for a larger image.) seriously, vanessa's the only person i know who could've come up with something like this. it is SO HILARIOUS LA PLEASE. (((: but i really appreciate the organisation of the gathering and all. i think it's time we all met up as a class and relive the good old ny days. miss those days so much. cant wait for the 30th of may! <3

just watched the season finale of gossip girl. now i cant wait for season two! haha. it was good entertainment, though i dont condone the events that happened, all the vices and all. plus, it's slightly superficial and shallow at times - all the catfighting and power struggles. but amidst all the rubbishy content, the final few episodes showed how people put their differences aside to work tgt for once, all in the name of friendship. pretty interesting i must say (: it's totally not a bimbo show for anyone who thinks that it is. it's more bitchy than anything. haha yes. so for anyone who has the time to spare, go watch it! i wouldnt say it's a must-watch series, but no harm watching la. and entertaining yourself with the drama. ohoh. and apart from the exciting drama, there're eye candies too. so why not, right? (:

hurray! (: tell you a secret. i'm done with my exams! hurhur. and i'm officially YEAR ONE GOING ON YEAR TWO. how fast is that right? quite scary actually, thinking abt it. sem after sem just fly by. and before i know it, i'd be working alrdy! like for real.

anw anw. ended with econometrics-the-open-book-but-very-tough-mcq-exam. so gross la please. i was like MCQs! but the questions were beyond weirded-ness. bah. the only consolation is that EVERYONE felt the same way and our grades will fall prettily on a thing called the BELL CURVE. so there still is a teeny weeny bit of hope for a good grade. but i must say, it was my toughest paper. even macro-the-i-think-i-wanna-die-studying-for-it paper was better than today's. okay okay. i shall stop whining abt the exams. THEY ARE OVER.

so! headed to vivo after the paper with jel and joy :) :) we were like three super chui looking people walking arnd. but it was a good time of girltalk at the rooftop! it's times like these that you wish could last longer. but we've got a three mth break ahead of us! so who knows what will happen then :)

OKAY I NEED TO WHINE AGAIN. i'm down with a bad bad cough and a slight fever. what a way to end the exams right. started feeling sick on tues. and i was hoping i'd recover by today. well apparantly not. so so gross la. yikes.

tmrw's gonna be a day out with abra! gonna have our haircuts (FINALLY LA MY HAIR IS SO MESSY) and desserts at cheenatown! :) :) and i'm on a mission to sleep early every night from today onwards! i need my beauty sleep. and to regain my non-chui looks. HUR.

okay yikes. i realised this whole entry is beyond bimbo-ness. it must be the exams and the conversationally deprived (i love this term!) person i've become over the past month.

i take forever to complete my essays/assignments/whatever as long as they are word-based/essay-like. SERIOUSLY. ive been at my 300 word analysis for a long time alrdy and i'm still not done. i mean, THREEEHUNDREDWORDS. how much is that right. apart from the fact that it takes time to pick out the important points, summarise them and type them out, a three hundred word thing shouldnt take that long. really. BUTTT. i found out the reason why i always take so long to do my assignments. i realised im quite a perfectionist when it comes to things like that. like i want my sentences to be linked properly, have a good flow, and well...just be nice. so YAYY. maybe i shld stop being so anal abt stuff like that righhtttt. but i cant help it. bahhh.

so im still in the library. and my assignment is due tmrw. im done with it actually! just in case you're wondering why my assignment is only 300 words long, it isnt. hur. it's one part out of a four part assignment. anw anw. i exceeded the word limit for my 300 word thing laaaaaa. i shld learn to be consise man seriously.

off to edit it now! byeeeee. i cant wait for this week to end.
