and so, it was my 17th birthday ytd. so yea. happy birthday to me. and to aik tiong as well :) i do feel kinda old now. sadly. it's like im gonna be J2 next year! and the a levels are gonna come real soon. and before i know it, i'll be in uni. time really does fly.

anw, my bdae ytd was pretty much like any other day. received quite alot of midnight smses. thanks to all who wished me! really appreciate every single person who remembered my birthday. it's really the thought that counts and i appreciate that. :) went to church, got a super nice and yummy slice of chocolate cake from siew li! was extremely touched. i guess it's the little things that ppl do that can bring a smile to my face. received a card from daniel too. really thoughtful of him.

went for lunch tgt with huimin and lysa. huimin treated! :) haha. was nice fellowshipping with the both of them after church. really am thankful that huimin's always there la. tho im not very close to her, she's like a big sister whom i know i can talk to and can count on for sound advice. she got me a flower too! really nice :) had dinner with my family. was also my aunt's birthday. hmm. it's really interesting that two of my mum's sisters are born on the same day as me. :)

YF celebrated the october babies' birthdays on sat too. hmm. havent been to YF for a long time cos of exams, so going back and celebrating my birthday felt kinda weird. but anws, i really thank God for YFers who are always there. tho im not exactly close to them, it sometimes helps to know that YFers are true christian brethren whom i can count on.

and it's jiahui's birthday today! and jasmine's and mingfen's! wow. i know like a thousand ppl who are born in october. :) had dinner tgt with kaijia, gouyue and jiahui just now to celebrate jh's birthday. had fish and co at the glass house. hmm. we're like the fish and co gang. it's always us eating fish and co tgt. haha. anw, hope jiahui enjoyed herself. did you, girl? happy 17th birthday! :) *love.

moving on to other stuff. got back promo results today. i JUST passed my gp. it's like really disappointing that my english standard has fallen to such a level. utterly disgusted. and was really sad that i failed compre that my tears just kept flowing. i hate it when i get back my results to find myself crying over spilt milk. it seriously sucks. overall, i did okay and i think i can get promoted. and i thank God for my grades. really. and for seeing me through the entire exam period. the Lord has really been good to me :)

hmm. i realised i have this tendency to type and type non-stop. haha. kinda bad cos i'll probably bore whoever's reading this. but just to end off, some birthday thoughts and endeavours. would really want to walk closer to the Lord and be consistent in QT. to serve in other areas in church and give my best for Him. to be actively involved in YF and get to know fellow YFers better. hmm. there are so many more, but just to add one more. to get promoted.
